Funny things they say

Since the girls birthday's are coming up I have been thinking about how fast they are growing. I can't believe Cailynn will be 4 one week from today. I really have issues with this! Callie is such a big girl and really amazes me everyday with everything she does at her age. This girl from probably 19/20 months has had a huge vocabulary and by now at 24 months can say anything and everything she wants...and trust me she does! Friday after we left Wal-Mart I was wiping her hands off and when I got done she needed it to wipe off other things. Then I am driving down the road and she says- Hey Mom, here catch..then throws the wipe at me up front! LOL Also, last night we were playing in her room. She wanted to take something to Cailynn so she left the room then came right back and said, Mom, I'll be right back. She is such a mess! I guess being so close to Cailynn in age has made her think she is older than she is!
Tonight we were getting Cailynn ready for bed. She was sitting on the couch and a funny commerical came on. She said- Record it! I want to watch that again. Chris and I were cracking up! Apparently we use Tivo a little too much at this house!

Bubble bath

Sunday night I decided to give the girls a bubble bath. I thought Callie might be a little scared of the jets but she loved it. She gave us a weird look at first but then started laughing! Now of course Cailynn asks to take a bath in our tub every night.

Applique

Callie modeling her shirt before school this morning. Cailynn was so upset that she was not able to wear hers.
:( I felt awful for not having it done.

I love applique shirts and the other day just decided I could do it myself! Mom came over Sunday and gave me a crash course in sewing. LOL So monday I went and got lots of cute fabric and shirts for the girls. This is my first one. I love it, of course I hope to get better with time but still not bad for a first timer! It took less than 30 minutes to do! Keep a look out for Cailynn's shirt I am making. I have her "C" on it but I am getting brave and deciding to add ruffles on the bottom! Hopefully I will get this done this week!
