Update

We went to the dentist yesterday and had sorry for my language..one hell of a day. :(
Come to find out my Aunt was right...the tooth got pushed back up in her gums. GEEZ. So they gave her some medicine and went in to bring the tooth down. Let me tell you..that was the worst experience I have had this far. Poor thing started falling out and was real woozy. She would not let me hold her she was fighting the medicine and flailing around everywhere. It is so sad to watch. Once they get her back there they got the tooth down and thought they could save it. Once they were done the tooth fell out. :( SO they went ahead and pulled her other tooth as well. This needed to be done in order to maintain the space of her teeth. SOOOOOOOO after all of this..our baby has both of her front teeth gone. :( As the dentist put it..snaggletooth is snaggletooth no matter if you have 1 or 2 teeth gone. ha ha Anyway his office did an excellent job and now Cailynn is on her way back to feeling better. She is a little out of it today and cranky but I am sure will be feeling better soon. We just wanted to update everyone and let you know she is our little trooper. :) I of course will post pics of her BEAUTIFUL new smile once her swelling of her lips go down and you can see. ha ha

Baby tooth

Our poor baby Cailynn was playing on the bed last night when she fell off, hit the side rails and knocked her front left tooth out. Yes, you are reading this correctly..it is gone. She is such a trooper running around and playing like nothing ever happened. Now I am a different story. This has really devasted me..I feel so bad for her and I want to take all of her pain away. I wish I could go back and prevent this from happening. We have a dental appointment tomorrow at 2:30 for x-rays so we can have a better idea of what happend. My Aunt Terri called me this afternoon to inform me that her daughter fell when she was little and they could not find the tooth..well come to find out it got pushed back up in her gums. OOHHHH GEEZ...so now I am freaking out more..cause we cant find the tooth..we just assumed she swallowed it. OH PLEASE let that be the case!
Please everyone pray for Cailynn to feel NO MORE PAIN and for mommy to get it together!!

Check out how great Cailynn colored in the clouds!! I was so impressed at her ability to color things in at this age. I believe we have one smart cookie on our hands.

passed out!

Since Cailynn rarely takes a nap anymore she always gets really tired around 4. So yesterday I took her with me to Wal-mart around that time in hopes of keeping her awake. Well, she fell asleep on the way there and slept through me carrying her in in the rain! When I put her in the basket she just fell over and continued sleeping. I took a pic of it on my camera phone. It was sooooooooooo funny. Everyone was staring at me and her and would laugh or give me a smile. :)

funny

This pic just cracks me up because she is so big and so long that when laying in the boppy she has to bend her legs.

Our little artist

Yesterday while both Dad and Callie were napping Cailynn and I decided to paint. She had a blast!! We painted for over 30 minutes. It was so much fun watching her. This is definitely a weekend activity though so dad can keep Callie occupied while we play and clean up afterwards.

Let's play sissy!!

This was soooooooooooo freaking funny! I was cracking up the whole time. Cailynn would give Cal her blocks and would say- Here you go Callie. It was so sweet. In the last pic I imagine Callie saying to her- What am I supposed to do with all of this???

Adjustment

Last night Chris gave me an adjustment. Cailynn was watching us and I told her Daddy was fixing me because she always likes to see Daddy fix things. Once we were done she gave Chris Frankie and said, Frankie fix so he gave Frankie an adjustment. Then after he was done he also had to adjust bear and bunny. Once they were all feeling better it was Cailynn's turn. :) Too Cute!

another funny blinkie

Sorry but I get some weird looks sometimes for feeding Callie in public and it is uncalled for!! So here is another blinkie I thought was cute! I will add though that I always have a blanket covering Callie. :)

Wii

All I can say is OMG we finally got a Nintendo Wii. This is the funnest thing EVER!! Chris and I have been having so much fun. Chris is also excited because we have something to do at night once the girls are asleep. Otherwise I always fall asleep and leave him up alone. Not anymore!! If anyone has a chance to get one of these I highly recommend it. They are a blast. Our arms are sooooo sore from playing tennis, golf & boxing (that is a workout in itself).

Liar, liar pants on fire

I swear these girls are determined to make a liar out of me. :(
Callie sleeps with us (which I swore I would never do) and now Cailynn wants in on making me look bad. he he
I was just telling my mom and probably some other people what a great sleeper Cailynn is and that she will probably be one of those kids who always takes a nap. Well, what do you know...for about 2 weeks or so she has been skipping naps!!!! I try to lay her down but she just gets up after a few minutes and comes downstairs to play and hang out with me. The few days she has taken a nap she doesn't want to go to bed at night...so I guess I would rather her sleep at night versus during the day.

I love this

I saw this online & had to post it here because
it is so true! I wish more people would realize this and be more accepting of breastfeeding moms.

Cherishing these moments

I have found that with the 1st child you are so excited to see them reach their milestones and can't wait for this or that. With the 2nd though I am much more aware of her being a baby and I don't want her to grow up. I now realize exactly how fast they do grow up and I hate it. Don't get me wrong, I love Cailynn's age too because she is so much fun but I miss her being a baby. So I am sure I will baby Callie a little more and nurse her a little longer just because I want her to stay small forever. Do you think that will come back to bite me in the butt???? Uhhh, probably but oh well. ha ha
Some of you may be reading this thinking- How can she baby Callie more than she did Cailynn!! (I know Chris thinks that) :)
Chris says he enjoys her being a baby too but he is ready for her to sleep through the night. I said- How does that affect you??? ha ha ha

My little smarty pants

Cailynn is soooo smart. Of course, I realize that every parent thinks their child is a genius, well we are no exception. :) She will just be hanging out playing with her toys when all of a sudden she starts reciting sentences from her favorite books. It amazes me that she remembers them word for word! Not to mention the fact that she is thinking about them and probably imagined her other toys acting out the stuff we read. Amazing, as Cailynn would put it.

Feeding Frankie

For those of you who do not know, Frankie the giraffe is Cailynn's best friend who goes everywhere and does everything with her. The other night I was nursing Callie and Cailynn grabbed my breast pad and raised her shirt and put it up to her boobie. She then took it off raised her shirt again and proceeded to "feed" frankie like mommy does. Then she looked at us and said Frankie is eating! We were trying not to laugh to hard because she was so proud and we also didn't want her to think anything was wrong with it. IT WAS SOOOO FUNNY & a priceless moment I hope I never forget. At first you think..OMG she shouldn't be doing that but actually she SHOULD! I think it is healthy for her to see her mommy breastfeed and know that it is natural and a normal thing to do. Heck, when I think about it her baby dolls come with bottles and she feeds them so why not pretend to nurse them too when that is all she has ever seen. She has never seen Callie get a bottle.
(Of course, I am not against formula feeding either so if someone is reading this who formula feeds please do not get offended..I fed Cailynn formula after I quit nursing her at 7 1/2 months.)
This was just a funny moment..which has happened again with her other dolls... that I am VERY PROUD of! :)
