We just got back from Callie's 2 month check up & shots. :( Mommy survived them...it was hard but I managed. She weighs 11 lbs 9 oz and is 24 inches long!! She has gained 2 lbs and grown an inch in a month. Amazing!! I guess all that time she spends nursing is working.

Callie Christmas

Just some pics of Callie on Christmas morning. See her Bumbo seat Santa brought. It is the neatest thing I have seen yet. Now she can sit up on her own! WHOOO HOOO!

Here is mom and dad waiting on Cailynn to wake up. I was so nervous that she would wake up before us and I would miss her reaction on the camera. So we sat and waited and waited...and finally put on a Christmas CD to wake her up.
For those of you wondering..that is a boppy around my waist. Looks weird I know but it supports Callie when I feed her. (If you didn't know what that is for)

Christmas eve

Cailynn got to open 1 gift on Christmas eve. She got Dora and Backyardigan's books. She LOVES to read and mom and dad are very happy to have some new books to read. :)

Gama stayed with us for a week or so at Christmas. She had so much fun with the girls. She also taught us a new trick to help calm Callie and put her to sleep. You will see in one of the pics above Gama bouncing her on her legs and patting her back...this really works! Thanks Gama!! The girls will miss you.

A couple rare pics

I have A LOT of catching up to do on the blog. I have been busy with Christmas and the girls but will try to catch everyone up over the next day or so. Here are a couple of rare pics..ME and Callie. I am always the one taking pics but with Gama here she was behind the camera. The 1st one is of us going to my Christmas party at work and the 2nd is me getting ready to cook dinner. I suggest that everyone with a baby invest in a sling!! Sometimes it is the only way I can get things done with 2 kids. Callie loves it since she can sit up and check everything out. She is so nosy!

Santa

Last night before Cailynn went to bed I told her we were going to see Santa tomorrow!! She said Santa and the Snowmam (snowman)!! She was so excited. However when we get there she does not want to sit on his lap!! I asked if she wanted a picture with Santa and she said- No thanks but took a sucker from him and walked off. She like him and said - Bye Santa, See you soon but did not want to be close to him. However Callie could care less about the world around her right now she she happily posed for mom.
